Concord Church of Christ had its annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox packing party on Sunday, Nov. 23rd. We had a great time packing 43 shoeboxes while enjoying Christmas music, treats, hot chocolate, and a crackling fire from YouTube on the projection screen. Each shoebox is packed with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Once all the shoeboxes were organized we prayed over them. They were dropped off at Bible Lutheran Church in Dodge Center. From there they were shipped to a distribution center in Chicago where they will be sent somewhere across the world.
