The Dodge County Community Foundation is a non-profit public foundation with the goal to enhance the county by connecting financial resources to benefit and promote local services that may not otherwise have a clear sustainable solution. The seven person board is made up of business persons and concerned citizens who are interested in promoting the community and economic development while preserving the heritage of history and agriculture while maintaining the forward thinking to benefit the county now and in the future.
They support education in and out of the classrooms through scholarships, classroom supplies for first year teachers and capital investments for educational purposes beyond the scope of normal school operations.
The DCCF also supports emergency services to help ensure there is training and proper equipment to help in emergencies for law enforcement, firefighters and first responders. These include EMT certification, ambulance training, CPR mannequins and ballistic vests for sheriff department chaplains.
Community events are also a priority to support and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors in the county.
Parks and recreation will preserve and improve the amenities and natural resources for the enjoyment for current and future generations by restoration of facilities, signage and equipment in need of repair or maintenance.
The foundation has a seed endowment and is welcoming donations to grow the fund. Donations are tax deductible and can be made online or by mailing a check to: DCCF, P.O. Box 23, Kasson, MN 55944. One may specify if you would like your donation directed toward a specific service such as Emergency Response Services, Parks and Recreation, Education or Community Events.
