John 15, 12-13
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
What would we do without our friends?
Three weeks ago, I spent a week in the hospital. I was blessed with friends and family who came to visit me. Since I have been home, I have had many great friends who have come to visit me and brought me some great meals and conversation. I am so grateful for their kindness, and their time spent with me means so very much.
This is what life is all about. Caring for others. Being grateful for every day God gives us on this earth, and so grateful for our friends. At times, we need to stop and think about how good our lives are because of our friends. Keep these memories of friendship on a daily basis. They are there for us when we need them the most. We need not forget that Jesus is always there for us, at all times. When our friends or family don't answer the phone or are busy doing things in their lives, we need to remember we always have a friend in Jesus.
Matthew 28:20 "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of age."
Be so grateful every day of your life.
Be kind and loving to each other.
May God bless all of you.
Hug those kids today and never stop praying.
Your friend,
Larry Blood
