Our new second part-time staff member is Pam Murphy. She joins Renae in keeping the facility organized and running smoothly.

As of Sept 30, this year, the facility kept the following out of the trash. The number if items diverted was 15,343. The weight of the material diverted from the landfill or Waste to Energy Facility was 144,000 pounds or over 72 tons. More than 6,400 people attended sales at the facility.

The facility was built with funds from a Statewide Sustainable Materials and Resource Management Grant through the MN Pollution Control Agency and a Greater Minnesota Recycling and Composting Grant through the MN Pollution Control Agency, explained Rita Cole, Dodge County Environmental Services and Dodge County Renovation ReUse Waste Management Administrator.

She thanked Marti Electric, Big Sky Builders, Preferred Heating and Cooling, Home Improvement Professionals, Knutson Plumbing, Affordable Portables, Duke Rental, Up-n-Running, Ponds and More, and CHS for all the work they have done and are doing to complete the building.
